Further developments in Criminal Justice Statistics
Thursday 25 March 2004 - Belfast
Following last years successful conference in Edinburgh we are organising a second one-day
conference in Belfast this year that will look at further developments in crime and criminal justice
statistics in the UK.
The conference is under the auspices of National Statistics Crime and Justice Theme Group and
the Criminal Statistics Forum.
Topics to be covered include:
? Role of statistics in managing the Criminal Justice System in the UK
? Methods of projecting criminal justice workload in the UK
? Developments in recording Crime Statistics in the EU
The conference will be held in Belfast at The Stormont Hotel between 9:30am and 5:00pm.
The conference will be free to those attending (including coffee/lunch), although delegates will
need to fund their own travel and overnight accommodation/subsistence.
