I have a new role with a travel company based in the South East:
Role Purpose
The role will entail the structure, implementation and evaluation of data
and insight elements of marketing campaigns to continuously improve
marketing effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
• To provide insight to channel marketing through post campaign
analysis of all channel marketing activity (ie Advertorials, Direct Mail,
Email, Outbound, Radio, Brand support etc.
• Aid and assist campaign managers deliver accurate data to external
providers.
• Work with and challenge campaign managers to identify and agree
effective targeting strategies.
• Work with campaign managers to develop propensity models using data
collected within historic campaigns.
• Refresh and develop customer segmentations model including
advocating and owning the data capture strategy.
• Primary point of contact for internal queries regarding database.
Skills & Experience Required
• We are looking for 2-3 years prior Marketing experience.
• Ideally you will have a marketing qualification(CIM/IDM)
• You will need to be numerate and be business literate.
• The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level.
• You will need experience of campaign management and OLAP tools and
techniques(E.piphany, Chordiant, Siebel, SAS, Double-Click etc)
• Knowledge of database structures and data models
• Segmentation & targeting techniques
• Production of analysis and marketing/KPI reports
