SALARY: œ19,460 - œ35,883 PA
The SMRU in collaboration with the Centre for Research into Environmental and
Ecological Modelling (CREEM) has a vacancy for a mathematical/statistical
modeller to develop management models for cetacean bycatch as part of a major
European project.
You will join an interdisciplinary team with a wide range of experience in the
mathematical and statistical modelling of biological populations. You will
have research experience in population modelling including the use of
simulation to explore model robustness and the analysis of population data.
Direct experience of developing operational management models will be an
advantage.
The post is for up to two years, starting as soon as possible.
