Academic Fellowship in Statistics (Statistical Ecology)
Salary (£19,460-£29,128)
Applications are invited for a post of Academic Fellow in
Statistics for 5 years, commencing 1 October 2005. The successful
candidate will join the Centre for Research into Ecological and
Environmental Modelling (CREEM), and will be a member of the 5-rated
Statistics Division. Applicants with a strong background in
statistics and with an interest in any of the research areas of CREEM
(see http://www.creem.st-and.ac.uk/) are sought. Candidates should
hold (or be about to obtain) a Ph.D. in a relevant area of
Statistics, show definite promise in research, be a committed
teacher, and be willing to contribute to existing projects in CREEM.
Subject to satisfactory performance, the fellowship will lead to a
permanent appointment at the end of the five-year period.
