Launch of the National Strategy for Reliability

Reliability is an assurance operation that is fundamental to national
wealth, makes best use of resources, allows the product to be used
as intended and develops customer loyalty.
There will be a launch for the National Strategy for Reliability based
on the Compeling Argument developed by a wide range of industry
sectors, professional institutions and academic organisations, which
identifies five key areas for attention:
Research and Technology
Education and Training
Best Practice
Raising The Profile
Standards.
There will be a series of presentations by leaders in reliability
enhancement followed by a set of workshops. The workshops are to
develop the UK Route to Reliability Excellence. Those with a
commitment to the development of Reliability should attend this
meeting to express their views and be part of this significant
development.
The meeting has been supported by dti, TWI, BMT, Advantage, I
Mech E, Mott MacDonald, WMG, IF, MoD, intellect, Safetty and
Reliability Society, Cranfiled University and others.
