Lid King, the National Director for Languages, talked yesterday (after the
CLIE meeting) about the way forward in foreign-language teaching; his
presentation is available via the CLIE web site:

a. distributed copies of a DfES booklet about progress so far: "Languages
for All: From strategy to delivery". This is available free from
