Hi Kim
I have seen the stuff you mention used at open air festivals to allow
vehicles to drive across grass with out churning up the surface. Sorry I
dont know the product name though. You might find something if you search
under temporary road or parking surfaces on the net

Subject: drive surface
Hallo
Please can you help? I am looking for installations and suppliers of a
modular system for providing a permanent stable drive surface suitable for
pedestrians, prams, wheelchairs and vehicles. It was described to me as
being like heavy duty beer crates locked together then filled with
sand/gravel.
Have any of you seen anything like this and what did you think?
Thanks
best wishes
Kim
