Views Sought for Discussion on the Assistive Technology/Disability Issues
Web Board - 10:24:13 AM Researchers at City University in London have
written a report for the Joseph Rowntree Foundation on disabled people and
the Internet. The same team has also recently reported to the main UK phone
companies, Ofcom and deaf organisations about electronic text communication.
Their City University department, the Rehabilitation Resource Centre, has a
new web discussion board which will cover technology and communication
issues, and other disability concerns.
Anybody is welcome to browse and to join in.
They invite more people to post messages airing their views - seeking to
influence government, product manufacturers and disability organisations. Do
browse the board, and contribute to the existing discussion strands - or
start new topics.
Go to: <http://www.city.ac.uk/barts/forum/viewforum.php?f=2>

Rehabilitation Resource Centre
After that first time - go to the web address, click "Log in" top right,
enter username and password, and then move from the all-Forums page by
