Subject: FW: IHT Awards for accessibility
<<ENTRY Form 040919.doc>> Dear colleague,
Here is a copy of the long awaited Award scheme from the Institute of
Highways and Transportation. If you have an opportunity please relay this
information to as many people as possible. For example if you have contacts
who offer information further via a newsletter please ask them to offer
contact details.
If you know of schemes which may be put forward for an award then please
feel free to complete an application form.
(I will be taking this information to Oxfordshires Committee on Inclusive
Transport for example)
I hope we can provide some excellent examples of good schemes/ practices in
Oxfordshire.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Deborah

Subject: IHT Awards for accessibility
Dear Debbie, Carol, Gary et al.,
IHT have finally launched their awards for accessibility, with
advertisments in our journal "Transportation Professional". We have
extended the closing date for entries to 25 February 2005, and the
presentation of awards will be at our Presidential Conference in Bath 1-2
September 2005.
I attach a note giving details of the awards and how to enter, and would be
grateful if you could give this as much publicity as possible. We want to
get a good field of entries and some really good examples of good practice
to publicise.
Many thanks for any help you can give, and apologies for the time it has
taken to get this launched.
Regards,
Kit Mitchell
