Dear colleagues,

I'm happy to concede that the subject probably does merit discussion (more relevant that the recent beer thread I'm sure) and is highly important to certain people. This is a key area of research to Alan Borthwick for example. The manner in which the discussion is being conducted is of greater concern and I still believe Ralph is being unfairly targeted.

Kind regards

Jim Woodburn

p.s., Sat, you were a great student and believe me none of us are gurus.

	Dear All

I am the culprit for starting the thread on "Grandparenting non state

	registered chiropodists and podistrists".

At the time of my initial posting, I was confused as to what was happening

and having discussed the issue with a few colleagues of mine - I was even

more confused, as each had a different viewpoint. So I just wanted some

	clarification.

I thank Ralph for taking the time to give the "Cold Hard Facts" - this has

clarified several points in my mind. Like Clive: Thank you Ralph for all

that you have done and are doing for us.

I also agree with Jim, that there "are sorts of issues that periodically

have me tearing my hair out about this list" - I really didn't want this to

be one of those issues, but it appears that I have opened a can of worms and

it has escalated out of portion. So to all of those on the list that feel

bitter about what is going on, please let's take this battle to another

battlefield and leave this list clean and educational. I hope that all those

concerned will uphold my wishes, and refrain from extending this subject any

	further.

So please accept my sincere apologises for starting the discussion and may I

present to all those not interested in this argument, and those that are

offended by the argument for tarnishing the list ...... my head on a silver

platter for you to do as you see fit and vent out your frustration as the

	person who tarnished this list.

As a final quote from Akbal: "sod the rest, be the best" - I would like to

say that I do feel that I am the best in the area where my practice is

situated. This is due to the first class training that I recieved from my

tutors while at London Foot Hospital 87-90 and that Paul Tinley, Douglas

Forrest, and Jim Woodburn (to mention a few) are the people that I owe my

gratitude to, for teaching me to the highest level. Once graduated, thanks

to Clive Chapman - whom I had the privelge to work with, and Mr. R. Graham

and Mr. W. Liggins for some post grad courses that I attended.

To these GURUS - I am sorry for bringing up this topic - I feel that I have

let you all down, I hope that you can forgive me!

Regards to all, and once again sincere apologises to all that I may have

	offended.

Tony Munday - nee "Satvinder Singh"
