Dear colleagues,

These are the sorts of issues that periodically have me tearing my hair out about this list and one of the reasons I seldom contribute these days. I spend all my time instantly deleting messages then realise I'd be quicker just to unsubscribe. I admire Ralph for taking the time to answer the one or two people who have hijacked this list for purposes outwith its intended use. Does the SCP not have a website forum for this type of discussion and is this list no longer moderated?

Kind regards

Jim Woodburn

The articles were changed at the AGM in 2004 and 2003 by the usual

process and all members could vote by post or proxy or in person.

	Kind Regards

Thank you Ralph. Regarding point 11 (membership). Would you care to

detail when the policy changes were made to the Articles of Association

regarding eligibility? None of the members I know have any recollection

of being consulted or polled, and on a matter of such importance as

this, I would have thought it essential to seek some consensus in the

	first instance.

If the Articles have not yet been changed, aren't you in contravention

	of the Companies Act?

	Respectfully yours

	Mark Russell
