It's also very successful as a treatment for recurrent corns ( used as an
adjunct
to biomechanical correction) and it works well as a fungicide regardless of
the causal
organism. It's a good odour free alternative to Tea Tree oil.
Tariq's father Taufiq was the podiatrist who "discovered" the podiatric
applications of
Marigold in Tagetes form ( as opposed to Calendula) and he ran a very
successful NHS
Marigold clinic at St Pancras hospital in the 1980s.
Both Taufiq and Tariq have carried out PhD level research into various
aspects of Tagetes
and its applications.

Yep. Tariq is a podiatrist, who is the founder of marigold treatment for
various chiropody ailments - he has a clinic at the Royal London Homeopathic
Hospital, aswell as a private clinic.
I believe that it is relatively successful at treating verucaes - painfree!
As for bunions - I think (though I may be wrong!!) marigold treats the
inflammation associated with the bunion - to my thinking it doesn't actually
"treat" the bunion bony deformity.
Then again it would be interesting to find out if by applying marigold paste
to a servre hallux valgus deformity, that the actual bony deformity
disappears!!! No pain!! No surgical intervention!! WOW!!!
Somehow I don't think so!!!
So in conclusion: Marigold allegedly is great for VP's and reduction of
inflammation.
Anyone else think otherwise??? Please let me know.
