Dear Russell,
I have recently changed to4% Citanest due to availability of Lignocaine
plain in dental cartridges. I've been using it the same way as I use 2%
lignocaine. It works about the same but may not last as long as
lignocaine. However I have a few patients who have had a painful post
injection site pain and a couple we have injected for neuomas who have
had excess pain and swelling immediately after. We therefore don't use
it for that anymore.
Hope this is a help,
Regards,
John Head
