The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists recently published their
Strategic Plan for the period 2003-2006. According to the Chief Executive,
the overall objective of this plan is “to maintain the Society's position
as the premier podiatry organisation in the UK and provide a sound support
structure for members.”
I am having a little difficulty however, understanding how the various
proposals reconcile the primary issues that are retarding professional
growth, at the present time.
Could I ask therefore, if one of the Society’s council members would
kindly detail what their aims and objectives are for advancing and
reforming professional practice in the UK, and what strategies they intend
using to achieve these goals?
Many thanks.
