Hi,
We are attempting to establish a triage system to improve the
service offered to orthopaedic patients. Could anyone who is involved in
such work give any help with the following:
- how / did you agree protocols for examination with orthopaedics, before
starting the service
- what has been the impact on mainstream physiotherapy and podiatry
- impact on other services eg surgical appliances
- what records do you keep.
- what has worked well
- what would you change if you were doing it again
- has the service expended - how is this working?
-did you increase staff numbers?
- what do you plan to do in future with the service.
-do you have a podiatric surgeon working within the triage service
Many thanks
