2 pieces of info...
I am currently undertaking, within the department, a comprehensive study
(over 250 patients) into the relationship between post operative bleeding
and nail regrowth 2 years post op. Also trying to measure regrowth in terms
of where is the most common site....
Also doing an RCT on Dressing adhesion on first post op dressing...
Measuring what sticks and where. Half way thro a 60 patient cohort on this
one.
Please feel free to contact me personally should you wish more info. On this
or any other aspects of Nail Surg.

Subject: Post nail op. surgery (healing times)
Dear all,
We are currently reviewing our nail surgery protocol and require advice to
give to patients pre-operation.
We were hoping that you could please give advice via evidence/
research/audit or where we can obtain this, regarding the following:
1) Healing times operative for total and partial nail surgery.
2) Possible regrowth.
The proceedure we use is LA, removal of nail, then phenolisation of matrix.
Thanking you in advance.
Chris
