I can't honestly believe that all he required was simple nail cutting, he must have had some nail pathology which required frequent treatment, for example severe involution.
I don't think we should take this story at the superficial level at which it has been written. Obviously patient confidentiality would prevent the Podiatry department from saying what was actually wrong with him.
Another example of sensationalist journalism!
