Are you kidding? Have you ever suggested to a dominatrix that what she does
is ill-advised and possibly criminal? As for Health & Safety, that's rarely
a concern in the S&M scene. From what I've been led to believe, of course.
With regard to the timing, remember the digit would not be exsuanginated
first and would therefore be more painful during suspension - try squeezing
the blood up your thumb (or other appendage) and holding it in the pulp for
a minute or two. Ten minutes may not be critical for irreversible
ischaemia, but it would be more than enough rewards for the most diligent
masochist. Even those in west Wales.
