For those who are looking for data about acupuncture, the world's largest
study about this subject was performed in Germany. For further information
you can visit the page www.gerac.de (English version is also available) .
Results are very surprising.

Asunto: Re: Acupuncture audit
John,
No audit data I'm afraid, but anecdotal evidence to show more than a 70%
experienced relief of musculo skeletal pain and neuromas. Of 4 patients with
painful neuropathy 2 were not people with diabetes, of whom one experienced
80% relief of her painful symptoms after 6 treatments and the other no
lasting improvement. Of the 2 with painful diabetic neuropathy one was able
to stop regular analgesia for the first time in 5 years and said that he
was 95% better, the other had about a 30% improvement.
Alas I retired from the NHS before I could use acupuncture for painful
neuropathy on a larger population.
