To be honest I don't have copies of all these articles any longer- so I
can't check! I used them during my PhD studies. My thoughts are that, as you
have stated, the methodologies throw up inconsitancies. If you want my
opinion, the first ray dorsiflexes and inverts- in response to a
dorsiflexion/ invertion force, but if you grab it hard and twist..........
