Dear Peter
Several times I have considered buying a Dentron Biogun. If you look at the
claimed success rate for v.p. treatment then it is no better than any other
treatment, (then again, if you look at research figures, any other treatment
is not that much better than no treatment at all.) and the treatments that
are more succesful, with the Biogun, have been used in conjunction with
another type of treatment so its a very unclear picture of wether the
machine gives any advantage in the traetment of v.p.'s. At around £1200.oo
pounds it would seem difficult to justify the expense. Also if you look in
professional journals you will find plenty of 2nd hand machines for sale. I
think why do these practitioners want to sell them if they are so good. I
have also spoken to these practitioners and have generaly had very
dissatisfied feed back. Just my opinion. The problem with verrucae is that,
usually, the ones we get to treat have not responded to an OTC treatment so
they are going to be the more difficult to treat anyway.
Cheers Dave Smith
