Dear All
As I wrote in a reply just moments ago, the person who walks on their
standing foot has a lateral shift in the pressure they apply. Very few
have 1st joint problems they for some reason walk this way.
Some have been like this all their life, i am certain it is because of
foot placement in the womb.
This lateral shift is seen by simply examining their shoes. One will see
lateral shoe wear along with prominent toes 5,4 and 3 when you examine
inside their shoes. There also will be very little wear on the medial shoe
along with possibly no great toe imprint inside their shoe.
Quite commonly they have thickened skin on the medial side of the great
toes. The other common thing is that when you get them to perform a simply
1/2 squat, their extensors take over and their toes stick up in the air.
Regards,
Paul Conneely.
