Correct. In a democracy you may not have the right to have things your own
way all the time. You do, however, have the right to ask questions and to
express your opinion whenever, and however you wish, within the parameters
of courtesy and without fear of severe retribution. This also apertains to
those with whom you might take issue, such as Mr Russell with whom I have
strongly disagreed in the past. I am sure members of Council are quite
capable of taking care of themselves. No doubt they will answer his, and
Eric's searching questions in due course, as of course they must since they
are the self styled 'Premier Podiatry Body in the U.K. which holds dialogue
with the Department on behalf of the profession'.
Sadly, the matter is once again in danger of breaching the terms of this
academic web site. It is unfortunate that no public forum exists on the
Society site. I think that David Holland is absolutley correct and thatfoot
site may be a better forum.
