Me have different perspective on this. We focus too much on ankle joint ROM, when we should be focusing on ankle joint stiffness (ie the range of motion at different Newton/metres of force --> ie get a force/degree curve for ankle joint). Based on work we done, measuring ankle ROM after moblisation and a bit of hypothesising, I thinx that ankle joint mobs are more likely to lower the stifness than increase ROM ... Will let you know next year when the work is finished.
...also lunge test for ankle ROM is much more predictive of dynamic function and injury than traditional NWM ankle ROM
....also 10 degrees is very bogus as normal range --- will publish that shortly (eveyone has and needs a very subject specific range for different waking speeds)
CP
(God put me on this earth to accomplish a certain number of things ..... right now I am so far behind, I will never die)
