Dear Mark,
As I said on the SCP site, not my opinion alone. The Council which was
elected debated and came to that conclusion. That decision was democratic.
If members disagree the AGM motions are open to them and if they win the
debate then we keep the new registrants out.
Pull the wagons into a circle and keep the defence up. We did that for 40
years. So much for your protestations about bringing people together. It may
have been Bill or you who want a joint Council but you want to do that
whilst insisting they are 2nd class, I have no idea how that is achieved
when the law says they are the same for the purposes of a statutory
register.

Dear Ralph
I think I must withdraw from this discussion. There's hardly a wall left
in my house which doesn't have the plaster crumbling at head height. Sam
Clarke writes in his reply to you on the SCP site writes;
<<You still don't get it. You wrote;
"...it is a political decision that has been taken in what is viewed as
the best interests of the existing members."
That is your opinion. We should have been asked for ours.>>
I adopt his position entirely.
Kindest
Mark Russell
