A PhD studentship is currently available in the Department of Information Systems and Computing, Brunel University, UK. The project aims to investigate data mining techniques for building users' cognitive models. The successful candidate will join the Intelligent Data Analysis (IDA) research group, led by Professor Xiaohui Liu. The key objective of the IDA group is to conduct interdisciplinary research concerned with the effective analysis of data and to apply this research to challenging real-world problems.
The suitable candidate will have a First or Upper Second Class Degree or Masters Degree in the areas of computer science, mathematics, statistics, or electrical engineering.
