I explored the website (link below). It gives extensive information
about how to pay online and how safe their system is for your paper
subscription, how to change your information, etc., but there is no
online service mentioned. (I am fluent in French). Sounds to me like
they are behind the times!

Kate,
We have 3 subs. to Le Monde (All hardcopy) for our clients via
European
Schoolbooks of Gloucester:
Web-site: https://www.eurobooks.co.uk/
They have proved useful to us in the past for sourcing European
newspapers
and might be worth contacting for on-line access to Le Monde.
Like you (and my French is VERY limited) I could not trace on-line
access
subs. on their web-site:
http://www.net-ful.com/LE_MONDE/LE-MONDE-QUOTIDIEN/
so I would also be interested just in case any of our clients choose
to
access the paper this way,
Regards,
Roger Goult MCLIP

Subject: Le Monde Online
> Hi,
>
> Has anyone in the UK managed to take out an institutional
subscription to
Le Monde Online? If so, can you give me an idea of how much it has
cost?
(please send this to me personally rather than the list if you prefer
it was
confidential). Any other details such as mode of access, subscription
agent
used (if relevant) etc. would also be very welcome.
>
> We are trying to reduce our reliance on networked CD-ROMs to zero,
hence
an attempt to convert to an online subscription. It looks like it ought
to
be possible from the web pages, and you are encouraged to contact them
via
an online form to ask for details about institutional subscriptions,
but
I've had no reply as yet.
