Although this query had an explanation, I suspect more queries may be
coming Springer's way very soon. I recently received information from Swets
that electronic access to Springer titles in 2005 will continue to be
provided free with a print sub, but only the current year will be available.
To access content back to 1997, it will be necessary to take out an enhanced
subscription which unsurprisingly adds apparently 20% to the regular
subscription price, at least on the titles so far checked. Yet another
method of hitting libraries' periodicals budgets and making nonsense of
price projections!
