Dear all,
ADS and AHDS are pleased to invite you to a workshop in York on 23rd
June 2004 entitled:
A Beginner's Guide to Metadata
http://ads.ahds.ac.uk/project/workshop/metadata04.html
The workshop will address the documentation of digital resources, with
particular focus on the needs of researchers and managers in the
cultural heritage and arts and humanities communities.
Documentation is becoming increasingly important in the digital world,
not just to aid resource discovery, but also to ensure the long term

This event will be of interest to all involved in the creation,
dissemination and use of digital resources for the arts and humanities

funding for all types of digital project, and preparing digital archives
