I agree, and only wish I had time and wit to reply to them all,
but there's been such a wealth lately, I'd get none of my
'real' work done. So thanks to Rupert for that "essential"
poem where "still life" is "still alive" (and, no, you're not
a fraud for your first concern being visual art rather
than a 'theory of a theory'), thanks to Trevor for that
translation which I'm glad didn't slip by in the many mails
(though I don't know about your dispensing prescription
drugs with only a poetic license!) and the 'mad woman'
of Galvin's, and to Mark for those Cuban poets of the
neobaroque, and Geraldine for the 'distraught toe', and
I hope I haven't forgotten anyone!
