Hi Lawrence,
I tend to agree with what you're saying here, bad email day or no.
That first line "a term like religious is to apply it were someone
is seriously concerned about their relationship with God" seems
a good enough thumbnail definition. For Alison's and Mark's
posts have delineated fairly the resulting confusions if it's
identified with "spiritual" becoming too porous to be of use,
or connected with having an accepted faith where it becomes
too limiting.
