you're quite right to ask this. But might it not be true that it is
those underlying commons or enquiry and perception that give an
avant-garde (which is after all the discussion of the lack of i was
suggesting a counter) its flavours?
Whilst one is admiring the car (or blender or solar cell or whatever .
. . okay, book) what's making it 'tick', what's driving it along?
That's what taking to be commons and that commons is what i took to be
playing into the 'coherence' in this thread.
