Sure.
I have no argument with that at all. She's right.
I'm asking if there's something else going on. And the something else, if
it's there, might be racism, classism, sexism pushed very far. Maybe, I
think now, especially sexism.... but no, as I think of it, I can make it fit
all of them!
I was wondering what it says - if any one thing, any consistent thing -
that so many didn't vote...
I find that very interesting.
I don't vote any more myself. I wanted Blair on class war crimes long before
he said Yes to another adventure for the Iraqi shooting season. Every time I
hear the voice of the slime mold I think I must exercise my vote... and then
I think more. I come from a stretch of the united kinkdom where it's a fight
between Tories and LibDems. The best I can do is help to keep the LibDems in
the parliamentary seat. (Our MP is ok. At least he comes out when you lobby
him; and he did engage in an email moral debate about bombing Novi Sad with
me. But he's hardly trying to redistribute wealth and power.)
