Well, I'll bow to your implicit request after this. I rather wanted to let
it go but
was then surprised that what I said was rejected. You did actually agree
with my initial comments and quite forcefully
I attributed sloppiness only to one section of one review; and it may be
that sloppy isn't the right word. I didn't accuse Ian of sloppy writing in
general. I don't accuse him of that.
Have I taken it outward? Rather I think Ihave stuck to my point, saying "but
I didn't say that" in a variety of ways, while other
things I haven't charged have been refuted
