Dear Friend,
It's my pleasure to invite you to the second instalment of ~ penned in the
margins ~ : live poetry under the railway arches. Again, the readings will
take place at the fantastic Island Arts Studio & Bar in Herne Hill, South
London.
And this time we shall be celebrating/lamenting (delete as applicable) one
of the most renowned moments in the history of these fair isles: the
discovery and execution of one Guido Fawkes, the Catholic rebel of 1605.
Yes. That's right: ~ penned in the margins ~ no.2 comes to you on bonfire
night, Friday 5th November! Proceedings commence at 8pm. Entry is £2. And if
you don't want to miss the fireworks, don't worry - a massive display is
taking place at 7pm in Brockwell Park, 2 minutes from the venue! For more
info, or to book a spot to read, email me or call me on 07729 887 236. Don't
forget to check out the website, where you can also see photos from the
first event, at www.pennedinthemargins.com
Join the Conspiracy!
