I'd be grateful for help with a couple of questions which seem to
defeat dictionaries and internet:
In Thomas Kling;s poem 'die modefarben 1914' - written all in lower
case, and linking the first world war with the catwalk season I don't
understand the word apper in the following lines:
ab sommer , apper herbstsaison:
schwarzer wollcrêpe (gekappt)
schwarzer baumwollcrêpe, kappen,
schwarzer taft.
Also in the following I know durchgesuppt as seeped through etc.
Can it also means something else slangy - souped up??
gesprächsunterbrechung durch
unrhythmischn historiker.zerstreut
wirkt dieses durchgesuppte sprecherchen und
bammelmann, fidel wie die erhängtenleiche,
mit seinem:
In Adolf Endler's wordplay poems there is a lot I don't understand
but especially PLOTZE the only upper case in all the haikus
PLOTZE Entmannung;
Der Ladenschwengel, vollschlapp,
Erleidet’s zerknirscht
