Hi Mandy,
We have Learnwise V2 at Reigate College. It is possible to upload students in one go, we constantly update students as they switch courses/classes throughout the year.
We upload data into the appropriate table in the VLE via the SQL database, I'm afraid you may have to go into the tables of the database to do this, however, you do need to know what you are doing (there is no undelete in SQL so make sure you back up your data first). I recommend you contact Darren Palmer at Learnwise 0161 827 2816, Darren can tell you which table contains the data and where it is located.
I hope this helps.
Gary

Subject: [VLES] Uploading Students to Learnwise
Could someone please help with a problem we are experiencing with
Learnwise? We would like to upload student data in one go instead of
having to put them on individually so we are trying to use a CSV file for
this task. However, when we import the file, we cannot find where
Learnwise puts it although it does tell us that we have done it
successfully. We thought perhaps that we are trying to import the CSV file
in the wrong format but cannot find anywhere that tells us what format
Learnwise wants.
Can anyone help us with this problem? I have several members of staff
tearing their hair out at the moment and the only solution we can see at
the moment is to have someone key in the data one by one (not something we
really want to do during the September onslaught!!!
