Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering
Professor of Transport Studies
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UCL seeks to
appoint a Professor of Transport Studies to join its internationally

will have a strong record of research in transport studies and will be
expected to develop this to address the needs of the international
community in the 21st century. The Department is committed to the
dissemination of research findings through both publication and its
undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, including the Intercollegiate MSc
in Transport. The person appointed will be expected to contribute to this
activity at all levels, to support the collective activities of the CTS and
the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and to contribute to
interdepartmental initiatives within UCL and with the partner Centre for
Transport Studies at Imperial College.
Salary is negotiable. The successful candidate will be expected to take up
the appointment by 1 January 2005.
