A position is planned to start on December 1, 2004, for a
postdoc. We seek a highly-motivated Ph.D. level physicist (or
equivalent) to work on the development, implementation and
application of advanced data acquisition and image analysis methods.
In particular, we are working on Diffusion-Weighted Imaging, Arterial
Spin Labeling, and Voxel-Based Morphometry. The candidate will have
opportunities to develop skills in imaging techniques, experimental
design, data analyses, and clinical neuroscience.
This is an NIH-funded position for up to three years,
requiring extensive scientific programming and computer
administration. Data acquisition involves Siemens and GE scanners.
Candidates should have strong analytical and computer skills: UNIX
experience is essential. Knowledge of C, Matlab, SPM and other image
analysis packages, as well as experience with MRI physics and
acquisition protocols, is desirable.
