Dear colleague,
INVITATION FOR APPLICATIONS TO HOST SMALL-SCALE EVENTS
Are you interested in running a small-scale event with a biomedical science theme? It would be in a format of your choosing: maybe a workshop, performance, debate or innovative lecture.
We'd like you to engage your audience with issues raised by advances in biomedical science. For example, is science changing the way we define and treat mental illness? Does it raise new questions about identity, genes and health? Will it alter our choices when it comes to reproduction?
Events would take place between September 2004 and May 2005.
For further information and to apply please check the Wellcome Trust website www.wellcome.ac.uk or contact [log in to unmask]
Kind regards
Sarah Bronsdon
