British Video Art + Electronic Digital Media - Ref RS/04/06 - The
project will focus on British video art and electronic digital media
from a historical, critical or aesthetic perspective adopting a
practice-based approach. The candidate should be a practising artist

The School of Arts, Design, Media & Culture is a thriving, expanding
and dynamic School. It is arranged in three Academic Areas, each led by
an Associate Dean, who, together with the Associate Dean (Quality) and
the Dean constitute the Schoolıs Senior Executive Team. The School has
excellent QAA teaching ratings, and Research rated at
national/international standing. It attracts substantial external sums
for Research and Development projects from a wide range of sources. Ref

within the highly successful area of Media and Cultural Studies we are
looking to appoint someone who will play a key role in the teaching and
development of video and new media production at undergraduate and
taught postgraduate level. You will contribute to existing teaching on
undergraduate and postgraduate modules in these areas and will also
develop your own specialist teaching. Expertise in multi-media/new
media production is essential, as is experience with the following
software packages: Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, Photoshop and
Combustion. You will be expected to make a contribution to the video
