interested in the following information on funding schemes just circulated
in the Development Studies Association bulletin.
New ESRC Research Programme on Non-Governmental Public Action
A call for proposals for the ESRC research programme on Non- Governmental
Public Action is now open. The deadline for full small grant proposals and
outline large grant proposals is September 24th. There will be four
workshops in Edinburgh, Cardiff, Bradford and London where potential
applicants can ask questions about the intellectual and administrative
aspects of the programme. The dates and locations for the introductory
workshops will be
Thurs 24 June - Edinburgh

DFID Development Awareness Fund Mini Grants
The deadline for applications for DFID’s Development Awareness Fund Mini
Grants projects to start 1st April 2005 is now 29th October. More
information can be found on DFID’s website http:// www.dfid.gov.uk and
following the links through “How DFID works in the UK” and “Through the
Development Awareness Fund”. The Development Education Association will be
holding a series of regional workshops on this in September 2004. For more
