Dear Dr.Esteban Leon,
Thank you very much for inviting us to contribute to your kitty
of "borrowed knowledge"by making us vulnerable to your carrots. If I have
some vulnerability assessment tool, I would publish it in New York Times or
Times of India and reach millions of affected and concerned people and
get "paid" handsomely. You and your private partner ADPC get all the
money,we do the donkey's work. You make committees and working groups with
people of your choice. Would you or agencies like UNFF,UNISDR ever include
me in your working groups? No. Your pay and perks is 500 times the per
caipta income of the affected people. Why don't you prepare your tools of
vulnerability assessment for your own confused objectives of your working
group.Did you have any consultation with us about what constitute disaster
vulnerability assessment tools( a high sounding non-expression).No. Your
website does not open now. Would it open for the general affected people in
the future. You ask people to resubmit their work again as if people do not
have any other work.Would this ever help the disaster affected people! It
would only help you.
With warmest regards,
Prof Durgadas Mukhopadhyay
