We are in the process at Westminster PCT of reviewing the Terms of Reference for our Equality & Diversity Operaitonal Group. The TOR we have are a bit vague and we are thus reviewing them.
I would be very grateful if anyone has a set of Terms of Reference for similar groups which they can foward me.

CURRENT TOR:
The specific aims of the Equality & Diversity Operational Group are to:
* Ensure the Monitoring Group is aware of local issues and to make recommendations for action
* Be local champions of equality and diversity issues
* Provide a mechanism for staff concerns or ideas to be heard and passed to the Board
* Provide a lead within their Directorate for ensuring work plans and impact assessments are undertaken
* Develop local action plans to tackle inequality and promote diversity
* Actively promote equal opportunities and race relations.
The Equalities & Diversity Monitoring Group will meet quarterly and provide progress reports to the Trust Board, the PEC and the JSCC on a six monthly basis.
