Stone dusted roadways do seem to give better a photo. One of the problems I had was moisture
misting the lens up in some roadways. Yes digital cameras are a no no in coal mines. Blenkinsopp
was relativelely gas free with only gas being found near a large fault. The manager did not know I
was taking photos, but then again he did ask for a CD with them on before I left ! You can get a
intrinsically safe digital camera which I am still not sure would be legit in a UK coal mine as the
body in made of aluminium. Go to this web site for a look.
