As the the Buile Hill Museum's 'Gallery of Mining Art' collection, to
my knowledge, originated from the Salford Museums and Art Gallery I
would think the Gallery would have returned there when the Museum was
vandalised by the bean counters.
The web site for Salford Museums appears to be silent on the
whereabouts of the collection though. An email to them should elicit
the required information.
I think Buile Hill also had a geological collection and a library, it
would be interesting to know where they have been dispersed on closure
of that fine and much lamented Museum.
