The Peruvian Corporation Ltd., incorporated in London March 20, 1890, was to
a large extent a railway company, operating the Ferrocarril Central del Peru,
serving the mines and smelters of the Cerro de Pasco region. The corporation
also controlled the southern railway, Ferrocarriles del Sur del Peru.
According to the reference identified below, the Peruvian Corporation became
a Toronto-based company and apparently in 1956 became the Peruvian Transport
Corporation.
My reference is "Railways of the Andes", by Brian Fawcett, published in 1963
by Allen & Unwin, London.
Hope this helps a bit.
