New members needed for the Human Genetics Commission
You may be interested to know that the Department of Health and the
Office
of Science and Technology are looking for new Members for the Human
Genetics Commission. The HGC is the Government's advisory body on
human
genetics and in particular on the ethical, legal and social
implications of
advances in this area. We are looking for people with expertise in
the
following fields:
- bioethics
- medical diagnostics industry
- medical law
- general practice
- nursing/midwifery
