Once upon a time, I spent my working days with online databases. I made use
of a wonderful UKOLUG publication that presented the commands for the
various hosts in a handy, comparative fashion. Then I went off to do
full-time web work.
As of a couple of weeks ago, I'm now doing both jobs, and I could really do
with an up to date version of that UKOLUG guide to jog my memory and fill me
in on what has changed in the past 5 or 6 years.
I can't see a 'publications' link on the UKOLUG website, and searches of
Facet's site do not show anything of the kind.
Have web interfaces taken over to such an extent that the aids for command
line searching via Telnet (and its probably-defunct predecessors) no longer
exist?
