I keep seeing messages like this, and wonder whether people have
forgotten the possibility of donating this kind of material to Book Aid
International.
Book Aid International works in partnership with overseas institutions
to develop their libraries, and may not always be able to accept
material, but would respond to enquiries about its suitability.
If transport is a problem, I recommend the solution that we have used
successfully - find a local Rotary Club that has a member who owns or
manages a haulage company, and who might be able to arrange to carry
material free of charge and to have it delivered when one of his lorries
has other deliveries in London.

Subject: Journal donation
Dear all,
I am emailing on behalf of a member of academic staff who wishes to
donate Revue de linguistique romane 1978-1999 to an institution which
can arrange collection.
Responses will be dealt with on a first come first served basis.
Regards,
Karina Bradshaw
